Why do I see a picture before the word?

Cardo asks you to retrieve the word from memory before revealing it. That effort is the learning event; simply rereading the answer feels easier but builds a weaker memory.

What should I learn now?

Open Home and take the highlighted next step. Due words are handled first and new material is mixed in without making you choose a study mode.

Where are my photos stored?

Without an account, photo cards stay on the device. If you sign in and cloud backup is enabled, copies are stored privately so another signed-in device can restore them. See Privacy.

How does the Chrome extension sync?

Use the same email as the app, verify the one-time code, catch a word and save it. Bring the app to the foreground; account sync pulls the web deck. TestFlight is not required for development builds.

How do I delete my data?

Delete individual cards from the library, or open Settings → Account → Delete account. If deletion reports that the server is not configured, contact support rather than assuming the request succeeded.
